  • Attendee and qualification information

  • Course attendance and assessment records

  • Accessibility, dietary or relevant health information supplied to us

  • Enquiries, complaints and correspondence

  • Staff-onboarding information supplied by client organisations

  • Staff-onboarding employment check information as required for the staff members role

  • Website usage, device and cookie information

We do not receive complete payment-card details when payments are processed by an external payment provider.

We use personal information to:

  • Answer enquiries

  • Process payments and bookings

  • Deliver courses and training.

  • Carry out onboarding on behalf of client organisations

  • Carry out consultancy

  • Confirm attendance and issue or arrange certification

  • Maintain training and assessment records

  • Provide customer support

  • Meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations

  • Protect our business and resolve complaints

  • Send marketing where permission has been given or another lawful basis applies

Depending on the circumstances, we rely on:

4. Information supplied by employers

An employer may provide attendee or onboarding information to us. The employer is responsible for having a lawful basis to share that information and for telling the individual that it will be shared.

We will use the information only for the agreed service and related legal or administrative requirements.

 

5. Sharing information

Where necessary, information may be shared with:

  • Wix and connected website providers

  • Payment processors

  • Email, document-storage and IT providers

  • Accountants, insurers and professional advisers

  • Training venues and authorised trainers

  • Nuco Training, First Aid Awards Ltd or another relevant awarding or quality-assurance organisation

  • Regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or public authorities where required

We do not sell personal information.

 

6. International transfers

Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we use providers and safeguards intended to protect personal information in accordance with UK data-protection law.

 

7. Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, accounting, awarding-body and quality-assurance requirements.

Financial records are normally retained for 7 years. Training and qualification records are retained for the period required by the relevant awarding or regulatory organisation. Unsuccessful general enquiries are normally deleted after 1 month.

 

8. Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

 

9. Individual rights

Depending on the circumstances, individuals may have rights to:

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Request deletion or restriction

  • Object to certain uses

  • Receive certain information in a portable format
